- — Tokyo Rose while scanning a prison bus.
Tokyo Rose is an automated female PA personality used by the KPA.
Tokyo Rose can be heard several times throughout Homefront. It is first heard when Robert Jacobs is a prisoner on a bus at a KPA checkpoint, where "she" can be heard making announcements to the prisoners. It can later be heard making announcements from a KPA scout helicopter to the Survivalists to turn in Resistance members that escaped from Montrose, Colorado.
At several points, it can also be heard commenting on enemy positions from speakers on sentry towers.
- Tokyo Rose is also the nickname of Iva Toguri D'Aquino, a Japanese-American who sent demoralizing radio messages to American troops during World War II. After the war, she was found guilty of treason by the United States government and was imprisoned. She was, however, eventually pardoned in 1977 and died in 2006.
- It has been speculated that Tokyo Rose is an A.I program, producing speech through synthesis or pre-recorded messages to respond to certain situations.
