My Buddy is an ability in Homefront. It makes drones last longer.

Overview

The My Buddy ability is a perk that is unlocked when the player first starts to play Homefront and costs 1 ability point.

My Buddy allows for prolonged drone use when not taking fire. This allows players to perform prolonged reconnaissance in drones such as the Parrot Drone, assuming the player has adequate manoeuvring skills to dodge the incoming bullets. This ability is not recommended for use with assault drones such as the AT Rhino and MG Wolverine as the player may be engaging in heated battles where the drone might take heavy fire. Thick Skin is recommended for such situations.
