The AAWS-M Launcher or Advanced Anti-Tank Weapon System-Medium is a weapon featured in Homefront.

Singleplayer

It makes an appearance in Golden Gate. The weapon is used for taking out a Korean helicopter. It has a similar appearence to an FGM-148 Javelin. The player aims it at the Korean helicopter and shoots. The rocket tracks on in the same way as that of an Attack Helicoper in multiplayer. It takes two shots to destroy the helicopter. The launcher has a thermal view through the sights and can only be fired once it has locked on to a target. It is dropped after taking out the Z-10.

Trivia

• When the player drops the launcher, a C4 detonator appears in the character's hand. When activated, it does nothing. It takes two detonations to get rid of.
• It is possible to destroy the Sentry Towers with it if the player picks it up before destroying them.
• When said aloud, 'AAWS-M' sounds like 'Awesome'.
