|40th Infantry Division|
|Country||United States of America|
|Motto||Duty Honor Courage|
The 40th Infantry Division, also nicknamed the "Sunshine Division" is a division within the United States Army National Guard, stationed in Los Alamitos Joint Forces Training Base, California. Among its subordinate units is the 185th Armor Regiment.
Two years into the Korean-American War, the 40th Infantry Division was one of the few organized, stable United States Army combat divisions left in the West. They played a major role in the Battle of San Francisco. They supplied the manpower of the 185th's assault on the Golden Gate Bridge. The Division is likely led by Colonel Ackerman with Sergeant Keyes acting as the pointguard for the 185th Armored Convoy.
